Worship through song is one of the longest-held values of the Vineyard movement. With roots in the Jesus Movement of the 70s, contemporary Christian music was always a part of what it meant to worship in spirit and truth. Today it’s no different, and most folks who attend will talk about worship and music as ways in which God has spoken to them, called them out of darkness into light, helped to form their worship habits and hearts.
